Quran Memorization Contest Held in Serbia Print E-mail

A Quran memorization contest was held this week in Sanjaq region, Serbia, by the World Holy Quran Memorization Committee.

According to Moheet website, it was organized in cooperation with the Muslim Scholars Association of the region. The competition was attended by 29 male and female students of Quran memorization center of Sanjaq who competed in the categories of memorization of 10 and 5 parts as well as one part (Juz) of the Quran.

The judges were Rami Valid Nasrullah, principal of the school and Mohammad Saleh San’an, representative of the committee.

Winners of the contest were awarded during a ceremony attended by local and school officials and the representative of the committee.

Speakers at the awarding ceremony expressed their appreciation to the committee for holding such contests in the region and for its contributions to promoting Quran memorization in Sanjaq region.
