Int’l Quran Contest Received Warm Welcome |

Cultural Affairs Manager of Tehran’s Department of Awqaf and Charity Affairs, highlighted people’s warm reception of the International Quran Contest, saying it is indicative of people’s high regard for the Quran.
On the sidelines of the 26th International Quran Contest, Hojjat-ol-Islam Sayed Mohsen Vafaei told IQNA, “The contest received a considerable welcome by people of the Islamic Iran as it was a high quality competition in terms of both the judging panel and participants.” He went on to say, “The venue was what an international Quran contest deserved; the reception and lodging services were assessed as perfectly acceptable”. “We do hope we will be able to remove any possible deficiencies and hold future competitions in the highest possible quality”, he concluded. |
